LA ASID Director-at-Large (2015-2016)

Samantha is a native of California and grew up in a family with a strong appreciation for architecture and design. Constantly surrounded by building, remodeling, and decorating projects, Samantha learned from an early age how to transform a house into a beautiful home. Although she had planned to pursue a career in law, Samantha felt a longing for a profession that would blend creativity, problem solving, and working with people, which ultimately led her to UCLA’s interior design and architecture program. While studying at UCLA, Samantha also became intrigued with green and sustainable design, which led her to become a LEED AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional). Samantha also enjoys drawing inspiration from her many travels and studies abroad in Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East. When she is not working as an interior designer, Samantha spends her time giving back to the community through volunteering with the Junior League of Pasadena and Big Brothers Big Sisters.
